As at 9 May 2026, significant progress has been made on all roads under construction in the North- West Region. The company Bun’s is maintaining its pace and continuing both earthworks and pavement development.
The recap of works progress made by the monitoring team, the technical consulting Didon Conseils, on 10 May 2026, shows that the project is nearly 30% complete. Tasks related to clearing the right-of-way are almost finished, covering 5.8 out of 6.5 km. General earthworks have been completed on 4.7 out of 6.5 km. As for the pavement layers, the subgrade is implemented over nearly 3 km and the platform already executed covers 2.5 km/6.5 km; the completed sub-base extends over 2.6 km/6.5 km. Regarding hydraulic structures, 11 out of 20 are achieved and 5 are under construction. The prefabrication workshops have also seen an increase in the production of elements, with 4,652 linear meters of prefabricated gutters produced.
