The overall works on this road are significantly advancing, with a physical progress rate estimated at 85% as at 25 April 2026. The tasks to be executed under this lot, which covers 39 km, are progressing on the ground as the team in charge has completed the implementation of the base course. This lot constitutes the first of the Kumbo-Ndu-Misaje section of the Ring Road, in the North West Region. The current challenge involves resurfacing the sub-base in lateritic gravel, which moves from KP 1+000 to KP 1+500 and adjusting the sub-base in lateritic gravel as well, running from KP 9+000 to KP 9+500. Overall, the sub-base course is executed over 37,500 km and the base over 21,100 km with 8,400 km for impregnation.
