Following the launch ceremony for the Ngaoundere–Garoua road reconstruction in the Adamawa Region, the Minister of Public Works, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, inspected the facilities of CHEC, the contractor responsible for the reconstruction of the cliff base–Keroua Bridge section.
During this visit, which took place around 4:30 p.m., CHEC’s teams reaffirmed their commitment to completing the works in accordance with the contract and in strict compliance with the project’s technical requirements. On site progress is already visible: buildings for the project bases are taking shape; foundation works for the crushing plant are moving forward alongside ongoing execution studies; an earthworks test section has been completed. The deployment of the inspection team, as previously announced, is scheduled for the coming days. Accompanied by the Governor of the Adamawa Region, the Minister of Public Works commended the measures taken by the contractor to ensure maintenance of traffic and emphasised the need for speed and quality execution.
