The Ministry of Public Works, Project Owner of the reconstruction of the Yaoundé-Edéa road, issued on 22 July 2026, a call for expression of interest to recruit a consulting firm responsible for the supervision and technical control of works on the Yaoundé–Edéa road, Madoumba– Ndoupé Bridge (52.05 km) section. This process is part of the implementation of the Douala–Bangui Economic Corridor Development Programme (PACE-DB) funded by the World Bank.
According to the clauses of the call for expression of interest, the selected consulting firm will accompany the Project Owner through all the stages of project execution. Its duties will be examining and validating execution studies, controlling material and works quality, ensuring project technical monitoring, coordonating various stakeholders’ interventions, assisting the Project Owner during structures’ acceptance operations and ensuring monitoring during guarantee period. The call for expression of interest for this project whose execution will last 42 months, is open to all consulting firms with sound experience in supervising major road Infrastructure projects funded by technical financial partners. The latest date for bids submission is 20 August 2026.
