The rehabilitation works for the road known as the “Lekié Loop” in the Centre Region are ongoing. As at 4 May 2026, Arab Constructors, the company in charge, is moving on with works on the urban section, Nkolbisson Interchange-Zamengoue Interchange.
In keeping with the momentum instructed by the project owner, the company continues working on the urban section. Throughout the week of 27 April to 2 May 2026, asphalt works were carried out from kilometre point 6 to kilometre point 5. In the meantime, the installation of ditches along the road is underway. Works continued on 4 May 2026 on this urban section. The road right-of-way was cleared from houses build on it, in order to enable the construction of three box culverts at kilometre points 1, 3 and 4.
