Maintenance works on the Yaoundé-Ayos-Bonis section are ongoing. To date, the physical advancement is rated at 71.7%. The main constraint raised by the company in charge of works is related to the acute shortage of crushed graded aggregates as there is only one supplier in the zone. As such, the project owner recommended the company to always consider anticipatory measures so as to prevent any further shortage of primary materials.
It should be noted that the maintenance of the this road section section on the Douala-Ndjamena corridor was designed with the aim of improving the level of service on this road through the systematic treatment of critical points and the complete rehabilitation of the most degraded sections.
